Somehow I feel that they got my money, and now I'm paying for the programmer's convenience rather than them watching out for their customer's needs.

In my reply to them, I expressed my disappointment and suggested that they continue to make 32-bit "legacy" versions of their updates available, even with some reduced performance if necessary.Īm I alone in my disappointment? Am I the only one who is happy with my current computing equipment, and am not willing to spend $ hundreds or $ thousands to upgrade what is already working well for me otherwise? This is VERY disappointing that now all of us with 32-bit machines (regardless of OS) are cut off from future updates to Topaz plugins, and many potential new users are completely cut out of the Topaz market share. We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, but we are not able to release 32bit versions of our software going forward, due to the memory limitations that 32bit imposes. Topaz ReMask 5 requires at least Windows 7, and only supports 64bit OS versions: I am sorry you are having issues with your Topaz Labs plugins! I sent a trouble report to Topaz, and here is the reply I got:

An update to Topaz Remask just came out, and I found it would not install on my WinXP/32-bit PC, that otherwise works great for processing photos from my K5.
I have been a very happy user of several Topaz plugins the last few years.
